Dolphin Group has executed a 50-year land lease agreement with Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), securing the site for a major new manufacturing facility at ICAD III industrial city in Abu Dhabi.
What the agreement covers
Under the arrangement, Dolphin Cooling Systems Factory is investing USD 6.75 million in a 44,000-square-metre facility focused on advanced design, manufacturing and industrial services for the energy industry. The project is slated for completion by 2026.
“A 50-year land commitment is a statement about where we intend to be manufacturing from for the next half-century, not just where we are today.”
Dolphin Group leadership
The announcement was made during the Make it in the Emirates 2025 forum, reinforcing Dolphin’s long-term commitment to expanding its in-house manufacturing base in Abu Dhabi while continuing to deliver heat exchange equipment and industrial services to clients worldwide.

An independent third-party audit confirmed Dolphin Group’s quality management system remains fully compliant with ISO 9001:2015 across design, fabrication and site services.
The milestone reflects sustained investment in site safety training, PPE standards and incident-reporting culture across Dolphin’s fabrication workshops.
The renewed framework agreement extends Dolphin’s ADNOC-approved vendor status for heat exchanger and pressure vessel supply through the next contract cycle.
The two-year rotational programme places UAE national graduate engineers across thermal design, fabrication and site services before permanent placement.
