Oil & Gas
Heat exchangers for oil and gas in the UAE: thermal equipment engineered for upstream, midstream and refining service, built and serviced in Abu Dhabi.
View Sector
TEMA-compliant, ASME U2-Stamped shell & tube heat exchangers designed, fabricated and tested in Abu Dhabi, the workhorse of process heat exchange, built for service worldwide.
The tube bundle is the set of parallel tubes that carries the tube-side fluid through the exchanger. The shell-side fluid flows around the outside of these tubes, so heat transfers across the tube wall without the two fluids ever mixing. This tube wall is the exchanger's primary heat transfer surface.
For representation purposes only.
Engineered against the specific failures that cost operators downtime, contamination or wasted energy.
The right exchanger for your duty runs cooler, fouls slower and lasts longer, protecting the pumps, seals and downstream equipment that depend on it. Getting the specification right upfront avoids an unplanned shutdown later.
Tube leaks cross-contaminate product and utility streams. Correct TEMA type, tubesheet design and weld quality are what stand between two fluids: get any one wrong and the exchanger becomes the point of failure for the whole process.
Every degree of lost approach temperature is bought back with fuel or power. Precision thermal design, verified in HTRI before fabrication, pays for the exchanger many times over its operating life.

Qualified to the world’s most demanding procurement standards, one of ~70 Local+ companies in the UAE.

HTRI thermal design, ASME U2 manufacturing, NDT and testing all happen in our Mussafah facility, one accountable party.

Four decades of exchangers operating in some of the harshest conditions on earth inform every material and design decision we make.
What sets shell & tube heat exchangers from Dolphin Group apart, in specific and measurable terms.
ASME U2-Stamped manufacturing with full material traceability. Every certificate ships with the unit, not on request after the fact.
In-house HTRI thermal design: guaranteed performance, not catalogue guesses. Duty is verified before a single plate of steel is cut.
Design pressures beyond 100 bar and temperatures beyond 500°C. Severe-duty specification is standard practice here, not a special order.
From carbon steel to duplex, titanium, and clad construction, matched to the fluid rather than defaulted to whatever is in stock.
Replacement bundles reverse-engineered from existing units, with no waiting on OEM drawings that may no longer exist.
Design and manufacturing under one roof means no subcontracted queue or handover delay.
Design codes, materials and testing scope confirmed for every shell & tube heat exchangers order.

We design every exchanger from scratch in HTRI, then manufacture it under ASME U2 code stamp at our Mussafah workshop, with full material traceability from first plate to finished unit.
When an exchanger falls short of design performance, we extract the bundle, retube and reface the tubesheet to bring it back — backed by ASME U2 R-stamp code repairs where certification must stay intact.
Hydrojetting, chemical cleaning, and eddy current or IRIS tube testing quantify how much life an exchanger has left before any repair scope is agreed.
Scheduled inspection and maintenance programmes track exchanger performance across every turnaround, catching issues on record rather than at the point of failure.

Yes. We reverse-engineer from the physical unit and nameplate data, verify thermal performance in HTRI, and fabricate a dimensionally identical drop-in replacement.
Titanium, super duplex, and 90/10 copper-nickel are our standard recommendations, selected by chloride level, temperature and velocity.
Yes. Dolphin Group holds ASME U2 and R Certificates of Authorization, so new construction and repairs are code stamped with full data reports.
Typically 8–16 weeks depending on size and metallurgy, significantly faster than overseas fabrication once shipping and customs are counted.
Yes. Spare bundles are a standard scope, and we hold dimensional records of every bundle we build for fast repeat orders.
Yes. We design and fabricate to API 660 supplementary requirements alongside TEMA Class R for petroleum service.
